Institute of Baking & Cake Art started in the year 2000, with the knowledge in baking and confectionery. There needs to be a platform for people to reach and learn the passion of baking. At IBCA, we have been involved in bringing all our experiences together, assisted by an excellent team of experts. Among all other things, some of the recent innovations at the institute includes, spray painting, palette painting, producing theme cakes and others.
IBCA and the team have achieved to excel in baking by presenting 101 theme cake on August 2004, called as “Celebrating Freedom”, also to add to his achievements is draping a 500 kilo cake around a model on Feb’12th 2006, called “The making of Princesses new cloths”, this also added us to the Limca records book for the year 2007.
The IBCA Diploma in Baking, Confectionery and Cake Art is a 14 week course which covers both theory and practical knowledge to the art and techniques in the baking and confectionery industry and includes breads and rolls, pastry and snacks, cookies and Slices, cakes and creams, snacks and sandwiches, desserts, cream decoration, icing decoration, dough decoration and specialized cake decoration week. This diploma will also give you insights into the commercial and costing aspects and includes new product development and project work.
